Leah is a bilingual Counselling Psychologist, working in private practice. She completed her Masters degree in Psychology at the University of Pretoria (Cum Laude). Leah's MA degree (Psychology) dissertation focused on Temperament and Executive Functioning, and how Temperament influences higher order cognitive processing. She went on to complete her internship as an Intern Counselling Psychologist at the Centre for Psychological Services and Career Development (PsyCaD) at the University of Johannesburg.
Prior to completing her Masters degree Leah worked as a counsellor at Centre for the Study of HIV and AIDS, and as an educator at Sandringham High. After obtaining her Masters degree, Leah focused primarily on corporate health and well-being and worked as an NHC specialist at ICAS. During this time, Leah maintained her special interest in Neuropsychology by assisting patients at Clayton House Rehabilitation Centre who have experienced Traumatic Brain Injuries and have neurological deficiencies.
